Back of House Supervisor

 

Working Hours

8am -2pm  Monday – Friday

 

Responsible to

Shop Supervisor and management

 

Hourly Rate

 

£8.25 / hr

Responsible for the following: -

Ø  Stock control and storage

Ø  Management of all incoming deliveries

Ø  Pot washing in kitchen and butcher areas

Ø  Preparing and working to daily cleaning rota of all machinery, equipment, storage and general working areas

Ø  Preparing and working to deep cleaning rota of all machinery, equipment, storage and general working areas

Ø  General assistant across all areas to meet business needs

Ø  Communicate and support all areas to meet business needs

Ø  Maintaining HACCP standards and documentation

 

Other

Ø  Engage in continuous professional development as required

Ø  Be flexible and work as part of a team

Ø  Be prepared to work extra hours to meet seasonal business needs

Ø  Meet professional standards to ensure high levels of customer service in line with “Blackwells” name

Job Title

Street Deli & Kitchen Assistant

Working Hours

 6.30am - 2.30pm 

Responsible to

Management

Hourly Rate

£8.25 / hr    --     Deli Van holiday cover includes commission

Responsible for the following

Kitchen

Ø  Prepare food for Street Deli Sales

Ø  Prepare food for next day hot counter sales

Ø  Prepare and stock control of oven ready product for shop

Ø  Manage day to day stocking levels and orders

Ø  Support lunch time service of shop hot food counter

Ø  Be creative to develop seasonal specials of oven ready products

Ø  Maintain HACCP standards and documentation

Ø  Daily cleaning of prep kitchen area

Ø Weekly deep clean of prep kitchen area Deli Van - Min 8 weeks per year to cover staff holidays Ø  Learn route and times of both Street Deli Vans calls

Ø  Deliver good customer service to all

Ø  Upsell and generate new business as appropriate

Ø  Cash handling and reconciliation

Ø  Be creative to develop seasonal specials

Ø  Maintain HACCP standards and documentation

Ø  Daily cleaning of prep kitchen area and Deli Van

Ø  Weekly deep clean of Deli Van Other

Ø  Engage in continuous professional development as required

Ø  Be flexible and work as part of a team

Ø  Be prepared to work extra hours to meet seasonal business needs

Ø  Meet professional standards to ensure high levels of customer service in line with “Blackwells” name
